Here at Higher Learning we put safety at the forefront of all we do. We have implemented enhanced health and safety protocols to ensure the safety of our children, family and staff members during the pandemic.
Highlights of our safety measures include the following:
Enhanced Drop-Off & Pick-Up Policies

Staggered drop-offs and pick-ups to enhance social distancing.

Only parents/guardians/authorized person are allowed in the lobby area

Face masks are required for building entry

Upon arrival, students/parents must sanitize hands.

Temperatures are checked daily- and any person with a temperature above 100.4 degrees will not be allowed inside the Center.

Wellness screenings that include screening questions are conducted and upon entry

Shoes are removed and secured in a plastic bag as no outside shoes are allowed in the center.
Class & Group Sizes

We follow DCFS guidelines for group sizes, and ensure that proper social distancing measures are being taken.

Social Distancing measures will fully be implemented during outdoor play as practicable.

All classrooms will have separately scheduled playground time
Snack & Mealtimes

Children will be appropriately distanced while eating.
Cleaning, Sanitizing, & Hand-Washing

High touch frequency surfaces must be sanitized every two hours or as often as needed.

Children learn about health and safety in a developmentally appropriate way throughout the day.
